Drivaro Privacy Policy

Drivaro respects your privacy and processes as little personal data as possible. This policy explains what data may be processed and why.

1. Data We Process

• Trip data (date, odometer values, locations, times, trip type, notes)
• Vehicle profile data (such as license plate and vehicle description)
• User settings (language, unit preferences)
• Account data (email address) for authentication

2. Local Storage and Cloud Storage

When logged in, data is automatically stored on Supabase servers (supabase.com). This includes trip data, vehicle data, and usage statistics. Local copies remain on the device for offline use.

3. Cloud Synchronization

If you use cloud sync, your trip and related app data may be stored in our backend service (Supabase) to synchronize across devices.

In addition to trip data, vehicle data (license plate, make, model) and anonymous usage statistics (total trips created) are stored in the cloud for free tier management.

4. Location Data

Drivaro only uses location when you explicitly tap location detection buttons in the app. Drivaro does not run continuous background location tracking.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We only use technical service providers required for app functionality.

5b. Subscription Management

Drivaro uses RevenueCat (revenuecat.com) for subscription management. RevenueCat may receive anonymous usage data for this purpose.

6. Data Retention

Data is retained while you use the app, or until you delete it in-app or remove your account.

7. Your Rights

• Delete trips in the app
• Clear local app data
• Delete your account (see Account Deletion page)
